Congratulations to Emily Hartung and Alannah Wilson!
On June 21, two trainees from Tobias Berg’s Lab at the CDCR won top prizes at the Department of Oncology’s Student Research Day.
Emily Hartung, a PhD candidate, and Alannah Wilson, an MSc candidate, were awarded first place in their respective categories for Oral and Poster presentations.
Emily’s presentation on the “Role of myeloid transcription factor networks in the response of normal and malignant stem cells to LSD1 inhibition” won first prize in the Non-Clinical Category in the Oral Presentation category.
Alannah’s poster presentation on the “Bone Marrow Microenvironment Contributes to Venetoclax Resistance in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Through MCL-1 Overexpression” won first prize for Poster Presentation.
